SEATRAC at the European Parliament: Accessible Tourism in the European Spotlight

SEATRAC was showcased at the European Parliament as part of the exhibition “Tourism for Europe, Europe for Tourism”, an initiative highlighting how tourism can support inclusion, sustainability, and local communities across Europe.

Organised by the European Travel Commission (ETC), the exhibition brought together 35 best practices from European destinations, presenting real examples of how tourism can be a force for good — strengthening local economies, restoring nature, and promoting social inclusion.

SEATRAC was selected as one of these best practices, representing how accessible tourism solutions can move from policy discussion to real-world impact. By enabling safe and independent access to the sea for people with reduced mobility, SEATRAC supports destinations that invest in equal access for all and inclusive coastal infrastructure.

European Recognition for Inclusive Tourism

The presence of SEATRAC at the European Parliament reflects its alignment with European values and policy priorities, including accessibility, social innovation, and sustainable tourism development.

This recognition further reinforces SEATRAC’s role as a trusted, European-recognised solution for inclusive tourism.

SEATRAC continues to work with municipalities, tourism organisations, and partners across Europe and internationally, supporting destinations that aim to offer accessible, inclusive, and sustainable tourism experiences for everyone.
